No School

It is that time of year already. Spring conferences! That means a 4 day weekend! More time with my boys and a lovely excuse for slacking on the household chores.

So, today I have been playing Call of Duty on the 360. Let's just say it. I suck at this game. Why Parker wants me to play this with him is a complete mystery. He encourages me the entire time and doesn't pick on me and my inferior skills. I always have either Anthony or Tyler on my team, so they do most of the work and I just wander around trying to find them.

Anyhow, Parker wants me to play, so I play. I am getting better though. I can at least see them now before they shoot me. Baby steps. I don't want to show off my mad skills too soon.

Birthday Shoes Update

So, my Dad liked the black shoes but hated the pink ones. Mission accomplished! The black ones, of course, are going to have to go back!

Old Man Parker

We joke that Parker talks like a 50 year old man. He has this incredible vocabulary that sounds so funny coming from a 9 year old. This morning I made the boys cinnamon rolls. As they sat down to eat, Anthony asked me if I was having any.

I said no, I was on a diet.

Parker says, "Me too. I am trying to cut down on hydrogenated fatty acids."

You make me laugh, Old Man Parker!!

Me vs. Baseball

Oregon Baseball has issued me a challenge. I accept!

(I think Anthony is on Baseball's side.)

Birthday

It was my birthday a couple weeks ago. That means new shoes!! I followed my father's instructions and found the ugliest ones I could! Thanks for the tip, Dad!

Spring Break

Soooo, it has been a long time since I last posted. Crazy busy! Sleep or blog? Sorry, sleep won out every time!

We had a very enjoyable Spring Break. We went to two movies. Diary of a Wimpy Kid and How to Train your Dragon. The boys enjoyed them both. I think they enjoy the food more than the movies though. As well they should since they are the most expensive part of the outing.

The weather was gorgeous most of the week. We spent one of those days geo-caching. You use your phone's GPS to locate things hidden around town. We took the dog with us. He was of no help.

The rest of the time we just hung out around the house. The week went by too fast. I so love having them home. I am looking forward to summer.
